Food & Farming

Almost 790 million people in the developing world are chronically undernourished today — despite there being enough food in the world to provide every human being with 3,500 calories a day.  The answer to world hunger is not to grow more food — it is to grow more food where it is needed.

It is the goal of the Jubilee Village Project to educate and equip local villagers to grow their own food, improve farming yields and develop economic indepedence.  Click on the links below to learn more about the Food / Farming Solutions that are being used in specific countries:

home-box-5Feed The Hungry works exclusively through local churches and ministries around the world to bring help to those in need both physically and spiritually.  Since 1987, Feed The Hungry has distributed more than $165 million in food and relief supplies in 82 nations.

Feed The Hungry’s pastor-to-pastor, church-to-church program ensures that food gets directly to those who need it most, not left on docks to rot or stolen by corrupt government officials. It puts food directly into the hands of local church leaders who intimately know the needs of their communities.  Wherever and whenever possible, they distribute spiritual food such as prayer and Bibles to those receiving family food packs.  To learn more about Feed The Hungry, visit the FTH website at www.feedthehungry.org.
