About JVP

The Jubilee Village Project is a grass roots movement committed to serving the poor and ending world poverty through sustainable community-based transformation.

The Jubilee Village Project (JVP) collaborates with village and church leaders in rural African communities to build capacities and deploy sustainable solutions to meet the physical, social, economic, cultural and spiritual needs of our global brothers and sisters.  Centered in the loving ministry of Jesus, the vision of the Jubilee Village Project is to provide hope, opportunity and liberty to villages around the world.  The Project is powered by volunteers and operates on three key ministry principles:
  • People-to-People Relationships
  • Holistic Solutions
  • Church-Centered Engagement
JVP focuses on identifying and implementing holistic solutions to meet eight areas of community need.  The Project does not develop these solutions, but collaborates with established ministries and NGOs to use already existing solutions:
  • Food & Farming
  • Water & Sanitation
  • Housing & Shelter
  • Health & Nutrition
  • Energy & Environment
  • Education
  • Economic Development
  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

The Jubilee Village Project is currently partnering with the leaders of Kager village in western Kenya (Nyanza Province) to help them transform their village.  JVP efforts are not targeted toward short-term relief, but are focused on long-term sustainability and community empowerment.  The Jubilee Village Project operates as a 501-c(3) not-for-profit public charity, located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
