My wife and I were in Migori in November of 2011. Our church has sponsored a church there called Magongo Christian Fellowship. We sent the funds to build the church building and are supporting them quarterly through our church budget. They have asked for Bibles in Luo and we need to contact someone to see where we can send the resources and have the Bibles delivered to the church. The pastor’s name is Geoffin Ooko Nyamwanga. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bwana Asifiwe!!!!!

So the Bible outreach we do is actually done by the villagers themselves, not any of us from the Indiana team. There is a real thirst to read the Bible, even among unbelievers, and we know there have been some people that have put their eternal trust in Jesus through this outreach. We sourced the Bibles in Kenya and they are both OT and NT. You should contact our Lead Village Champions, David Kayando, who has made all the arrangements. His email is moc.oohaynull@divadodnayak. Can you share more about what you are doing in Migori and where you are from? We are always interested in networking with others doing the Lord’s work in Kenya, especially western Kenya. Dear Ned,
I just read the posting about the Jubilee Village Project. I found it very interesting and inspiring. Has there been any followup to see
how the villagers are doing spiritually?
My family is going to Migori, Kenya in Feb., 2012 and I wanted to take Bibles in their (Luo) language but have not yet found any here
in the States. Did you purchase the Bibles in Kenya or Tanzania? How were they shipped to you? Do you have any advice for me
in obtaining Bibles? I would like to get Bibles with both Old and New Testaments as the ones I saw here were New Test. only.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I have been contacted by some people in Africa that need bibles in LUO.
I see where you have distributed these in the past.
They have contacted me from Kenya and Tanzania.
Can you provide me with a publisher where I can purchase bibles so I may meet their needs?
