There is a real thirst to read the Bible, even among unbelievers, and we know there have been some people that have put their eternal trust in Jesus through this outreach. We sourced the Bibles in Kenya and they are both OT and NT. You should contact our Lead Village Champions, David Kayando, who has made all the arrangements. His email is kayandodavid@yahoo.com. Can you share more about what you are doing in Migori and where you are from? We are always interested in networking with others doing the Lord's work in Kenya, especially western Kenya. I found it very interesting and inspiring. Has there been any followup to see how the villagers are doing spiritually? My family is going to Migori, Kenya in Feb., 2012 and I wanted to take Bibles in their (Luo) language but have not yet found any here in the States. Did you purchase the Bibles in Kenya or Tanzania? How were they shipped to you? Do you have any advice for me in obtaining Bibles? I would like to get Bibles with both Old and New Testaments as the ones I saw here were New Test. only.
